looks like it's spearheaded by Onehouse, "Apache Hudi as a Service"

Apache Paimon (also mentioned there) coming from Alibaba (in case folks thought this was only a Snowflake vs Databricks thing)

I actually think the video is worth watching just to learn the advantages of the diff formats and some of their open thinking about where the industry is going

all these formats are really so similar. my bet is that this will be like a Blu-ray vs HD DVD thing, and in the end the one with a better name &amp; marketing will win :joy:
