We are currently seeking a Senior ML Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Forest Neurotech. We are a Focused Research Organization (FRO) dedicated to advancing neurotechnology by developing a minimally invasive implant for whole-brain functional imaging and modulation in humans. Our mission is to improve the lives of individuals suffering from treatment-resistant neurological, psychiatric, and cognitive conditions through cutting-edge research and technology. This role involves developing data and analysis pipelines crucial for our core research activities, influencing both device development and scientific endeavors to interpret and modulate brain activity. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of neurotechnology and clinical research within an organization that combines the dynamism of a startup with the mission-driven focus of a non-profit. Key responsibilities include: • Designing and implementing scalable infrastructure for ML and data science workflows. • Managing high-performance computing and on-premise data pipelines for petabyte-scale datasets. • Collaborating with neuroscientists and engineers to enhance our understanding of brain activity patterns. We are looking for candidates with a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, and 3+ years of experience in ML infrastructure or data engineering.
