The request to stabilize was met with pushback from maintainers since calling anything 1.0 has a way of setting expectations indefinitely.

Kedro already tries to guarantee stability between minor versions, and minor version bumps are a couple of years apart. I personally feel like, in the Kedro case, expectations have already been set. 😂
