forgot where I read this before, but I heard most "graph" model in FAANG are supported by relational database not graph.

some thoughts there: • Google and Facebook did graph well before it was cool so have something that works, optimized and is quite hard to decouple • Neo4j hasn’t managed to grow from where it was 4 or 5 years ago so I think we know what the size of the graph market now is • It’s cool this duckdb approach exposes both Gremlin and OpenCypher that was a dream 5 years ago • The relationalai folks think exactly like Andy above, I actually don’t care about the implementation too much and really just want a nice user-friendly query language like cypher
