this person has a lot of rumbles about Python and they're all dumped in a single blog post, it seems
the part about ruff caught me by surprise
d
I think it ties into the rye / posy promise
and the fact that the crop of pydantic and astral.sh got VC funding in this market is a good indicator the tooling space is going to get a lot better and be šŸ¦€ powered
j
then at the end they mock "design by committee" and at the same time commands PyPA to merge duplicate projects. anyway, after reading it in full, a bad blog post IMHO (following on the bad blog post of last year)

been a while since we had some "Python Packaging Discourse"
in 2023 i attained the zen of mise (rtx) + venv + pdm
j

i
is it an experimental only change? i hadn't noticed that!
j
probably!
i
im quite worried about the bus-factor though, both of my most-loved tools basically have one contributor each (both of them geniuses in my opinion)
