Pluto for julia is reactive also (you change a value to a cell, it will update all the cells that depend on the modified)

looks like JLab improved support for Jupytext, but I still don't see it taking off
and there seem to be reactive kernels for Jupyter these days https://github.com/ipyflow/ipyflow
