Has anyone toyed with writing a plugin for querying credentials from Hashi's Vault?

so most times we’ve spoke to users about this - they’ve used vault to expose creds as env vars, is that not possible here?

or do you want to do all of that configuration within Kedro itself

I'd prefer it all to be contained within Kedro with little reliance on the substrate - we run our pipelines all over the place and can't guarantee env vars

intresting, I’m in two minds if I think Kedro should be place to do this or not. It’s definitely possible, but I’m not sure what our recommendation _should_ be

the answer is - Hooks, you can do this in a hook

but still not sure I’d put the responsibility inside Kedro
