Hi all, can someone share the installation guide for kendro?
d
I would recommend you follow the spaceflights tutorial here https://docs.kedro.org/en/stable/tutorial/spaceflights_tutorial.html
We have a slightly outdated youtube recording of the above too

Thanks man, although when I install via pip, I get this error: ERROR: pip's dependency resolver does not currently take into account all the packages that are installed. This behaviour is the source of the following dependency conflicts. spyder 5.1.5 requires pyqt5<5.13, which is not installed. spyder 5.1.5 requires pyqtwebengine<5.13, which is not installed. conda-repo-cli 1.0.4 requires pathlib, which is not installed. anaconda-project 0.10.2 requires ruamel-yaml, which is not installed. google-auth 1.33.0 requires cachetools<5.0,>=2.0.0, but you have cachetools 5.3.0 which is incompatible.
I'm using the work computer so I don't have admin permissions
d
what version of python are you using?
a
3.10
d
that may be an issue
a
but I get this weird error on the command prompt when I do python --version: Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store, or disable this shortcut from Settings > Manage App Execution Aliases.→
d
but the error message also mentions spyder which isn’t shipped with kedro
so I wonder if this is a question for your IT team

much appreciated, I'll double check with them
one follow up, does it have to do with an error in anaconda setup?
d
I don’t think so
